The night was long, long
Now the moment’s gone, gone
I thought I did something right
But I guess I was wrong
The things I said were wrong, wrong
The things I didn’t say were wrong too
I thought it was me and you
But I guess I was wrong
Didn’t I lie
And didn’t you try so hard
To prove me wrong?
It’s a blue summer
Take me away
Blue summer
Next time, next time
It never ends
Everyone pretends, pretends
But some things can hurt so bad, like
All these old pictures
Didn’t you lie
And didn’t I try so hard
To prove you wrong?
Blue summer
Take me away
Blue summer
Next time, next time

Energetic post-rock that packs a lot of exciting activity into each song. Joyous in tone, and expertly crafted to deliver a pleasing experience, Home is sweet yet aggressive – a genuine entertainer. Michael Reilly
I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here! Kenneth Blick
Dreamy, intricate guitar pop from Oakland's Absent City; splashes of accordion, sitar, lap steel, and mandolin add textural richness. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2020
This DC shoegaze group work like fog, bringing in ephemeral melodic layers that swirl together to become something surprisingly heavy. Bandcamp New & Notable May 23, 2018
Just gave the vinyl a spin and I just wanted to thank the powers that be for pressing this release. It’s beautiful and an absolute classic, start to finish. My most played release on Spotify for the last handful of years, and now I have it in my physical collection. 💚 Calvin McRoy
